At 15, Anil is the son of a tailor, who aspires to become a leader in his community as a software engineer. On top of his studies, Anil must help support his family by selling newspapers in the mornings and after school. This leaves little time for Anil to develop his skills outside the classroom or even to enjoy activities that so many children get to take for granted.

He attended a Dream Adventure Camp where he participated in swimming, boating, tenting, trekking and a solo survival overnight. One of the Dream A Dream volunteers who travelled with him was amazed at the transformation that Anil went through as a result of the experience?

?Anil?s confidence and courage showed as he survived a solo night while other children gave up. Anil mediated between children who did not know each other and was a leader. He helped return the back packs after most of the children headed home. It was as if the camp was the push he needed to mature and show his skills?.
