Success Story

There is awareness for education in people as will appear incase of Arti Kumari. There is awareness for education in people as will appear incase of Arti Kumari from an extremely backward village of illiterates, situated in the Sampatchak block of Patna district. An unfortunate Arti Kumari, age 10 years was cursed; due to death of her father (Late Shailendra Prasad) at early stage in 2007 a road accident. Consequently the whole burden fell upon her widow mother (Manju Devi) and a minor brother. Mother was any how managing the house with a meager income she earned with the art of tailoring in village Manoharpur Kachhuara.

Fortunately ADD team could learn about her fate and advised her mother to get Arti kumari admitted in school for proper education and better future, to which she (Mother) agreed.

Now Arti is regularly schooling in grade III and successfully getting education under ADD programme Educational and health care support for a poor and neglected child (06 - 14 years) programme. She is now grateful for the good work of donation by ADD.
