Kalavathy is an unorganized women labourer working in the quarry Kalavathy is an unorganized women labourer working in the quarry. Her husband Ramar too is a quarry worker. They have a girl child, Subalakshmi (4 years) who also stays with them when the parents are working in the quarry. Children like Subalakshmi who stay with their parents lack nutritious food. They even do not get snacks between breakfast and lunch.

SEEDS selected such 53 children and gives milk, egg and biscuits as their snacks between breakfast and lunch regularly through Youth SHGs of SEEDS.

The children are very happy to have their snacks and in fact they long for it. They eat the snacks and are growing healthy. Now the 53 Children who stay with their parents do not lack nutritious food during the daytime.
