Kalipada Roy is 80 years old (male) . Kalipada Roy is 80 years old (male) .He is a resident of Amtali village, South Tripura. He has two sons; both are married & separated from him. His wife died 33 years back. Now he is alone. He cannot do other activities due to eye problem and weakness due to old age. He is also suffering from joints pain. He was suffering from right eye problems since last one year, but never visited a doctor.

Through the announcement he came to know about the VHAT eye screening camp. Initially he was not ready to come in the camp, but after counseling by the volunteers of the local NGOs, who helped in organizing the camp, he agreed to attend the camp. When she attended the camp on 06/07/10 he was diagnosed with cataract in his eyes. He has undergone surgery on 07/07/10.

After the surgery he was highly satisfied with the quality of the services he received from the eye hospital. He expressed satisfaction about the cleanliness and other services in the hospital. He thanked the Hospital staff. He emphasized on the more publicity to popularize the VHAT Eye Hospital activity
