Success Story

Samuel, age 12 years, was detected of Profound Hearing Loss at a very young age. Samuel, age 12 years, was detected of Profound Hearing Loss at a very young age. His family belongs to West Godavi Distt of A.P. He went to a regular school but was not able to follow due to his hearing disability. His father is a teacher and mother is a housewife. He has 2 sisters who are non hearing impaired.

After he got enrolled in Ashray Akruti, he was administered with Intensive Speech and Audiotherapy. He has improved a lot in speech. He stays in the residential home provided by Ashray Akruti. Children who stay in residential home follow fixed study hours and we give special attention to children who are slow learners.

He is doing well in studies and is presently studying in std II. He is good at drawing and his favourite subject is Mathematics. He is active and very friendly with other children.
