Muniyasamy is a physically handicapped man Muniyasamy is a physically handicapped man and is living below the poverty line. He has two children. He does some coolie work but finds it difficult to meet his daily expenses at home. He used to walk in the streets dragging his legs. This caused permanent sores in his leg.

He came to know about MVKS and sought help. He was given timely medical help. The sores in the leg got cured . MVKS with the contribution of SHGs and Federation got him a tricycle for him to move about. The SHGs members helped his wife Mariammal to start a petty shop.

Now both Muniyasamy and Mariammal are doing well with their small business and feel honored with the self employed occupation.
