Success Story

SPRAT was formally registered in 2002 SPRAT was formally registered in 2002 and started its full-fledged operations from a premises whose right of use it borrowed. Over time this premises - located on the second floor of a decrepit complex - is falling woefully inadequate for its needs as its work has expanded manifold. Even its employees do not have adequate space to sit. Hence the work is often handled from their homes and from the President s house.

Also given our nature of work, it needs a lot of human resources, specially those knowing English and PC. On the other hand its capacity to pay a decent compensation is very limited. Hence it seeks - and receives - offers of Internships from university students from India and abroad. Such outstations students expect to be provided boarding and lodging though they are not paid any financial compensation. For them SPRAT needs a hostel, even a couple of adjacent flats will do.

We have just started raising the corpus. The impact will be seen in the long run.
