Surya (13 Years / Female) a Mentally Challenged child living in Madapuram has been attending Bharatha Matha for the past 10 years. The parents of Surya belong to farmer community. From the first day both of the parents were actively involved in all the rehabilitation programs.

This parental involvement helped the child in early achievement of her development. Now the parents are a role model for all the other parents attending our center who at times even motivate others to follow the program at their places. The parents through their Self Help Group activities activity create awareness on prevention and early intervention along with Bharatha matha Team members.

After the successful completion of staying one year in our home at Thiruthuraipundi, she has developed good attitude towards life and her health condition has improved. Her parents are very happy about her. She is now staying at the Bharathamatha.
