Success Story

Dalit women are given secondary treatment in the family, society and community. Dalit women are given secondary treatment in the family, society and community. They are easily exploited by landlords, money lenders and owners of business. No one is concerned about their health, social condition. Neither do the women care about their own health, their status in the society or rights.

We have formed 100 Self Help Groups for scavenging women. We have also conducted health awareness camp for them. We have conducted Child labor eradication campaigns. We have conducted Animal Husbandry Training camp to 30 dalit women. We have conducted the following Trainings for Dalit women: Awareness Training: Gender Training - 350 dalit women, Level Awareness Training - 250 dalit women, Climate Change Training - 40 dalit women. Skill Training: Tailoring Training - 30 dalit women, Dairy Training - 60 dalit women, Leaves Knitting -86 dalit women, Candle making - 142 dalit women

Dalit women are now aware of their rights. They can contact officials to obtain their dues and benefits. A federation is formed. They lead their federation by themselves to solve their issues. Some have emerged as entrepreneurs and started their own enterprises with financial support of financial institution and subsidy of Govt.
