Susama Barman stays with her husband Chana Barman with 2 children at Vikahar village. Susama Barman stays with her husband Chana Barman with 2 children at Vikahar village. They are very poor. Her husband is a day labourer.He earns Rs. 850/- per month which is very difficult to maintain a family with this meagre income. They had no alternative to earn within the village. Susama wanted to do something but she did not know what to do?

Susama knew VPBK. She told our Social Worker about her condition and request for any job, so that she could earn some money to sustain her small family. After discuss with Susama VPBK provide a milking cow to her.

At present the cow is giving 3 kg of milk per day. Susama using half kg milk for her family and sells 2 & half kg milk in the market. The present market rate of one kg milk is Rs. 14/- per kg. So, Susama earns Rs. 35/- per day for selling milk and accordingly her monthly income is now Rs. 1050/-. Now, Susama is happy because she now earns for her family and maintains her family better.
