Success Story

Krupa Pandya is 20 years old from Naroda. Krupa Pandya is 20 years old from Naroda. She first met the Umeed Disability team at the workshop organized at Polio foundation (a local NGO working on orthopedically disabled). She suffers from polio since birth. She was operated at the Polio Foundation and wears callipers on both her legs. Krupa studied up to the second year of Graduation and after she failed twice she lost her interest in continuing. She is currently the bread winner for the family. Her father is retired and mother is a homemaker. Her younger brother is studying and her two sisters were married.

She joined the BPO course at the Vasna Centre, which is far from her place. In spite of calipers, she travelled by buses, which made her daily routine more rushed than usual. She enthusiastically attended her classes and joined in all the extra curricular activities. Her faculty found her to be a sincere and hardworking student and when she was sent for an interview at Call Centre Solutions as a Call Centre Executive. She was selected in her first interview.

Presently she is earning Rs. 3000/- monthly. There is incentive and reward system maintained in the Call centre, which depends on the executive s overall performance and received targets.
