Success Story

Deepak (28) and Rakesh (19) are severely retarded siblings by birth. Deepak (28) and Rakesh (19) are severely disabled siblings by birth. They have a younger sister (16) who is also mentally disabled. Two months ago when they joined Apne Sahare, they had severe behavior problems characterized by aggressive and hostile behavior. They were hyperactive, slept very little, had no control on their ablutions and were unable to perform any personal chores on their own



SFCD provided them with a new and different living environment where full time attendants and caretakers look after them, cater to all their needs. They have been trained to perform their essential personal chores in consultation with a psychologist. Under expert guidance at our Vocational Training Center they are also being trained to make non toxic Holi colors
