Success Story

Razia brings meaning to her life. Razia Sulthana (18), is from Patelnagar slum, Hyderabad. . Her father Abdul Rahim is a daily wage earner. Her mother Ameena is a house wife. She has three brothers and one sister. She completed Madrasa Education in Urdu medium. Apart from her father no one earns a living.

Sahara has created awareness among the school/ college dropout youth for vocational training programmes. Razia approached Sahara for suitable training. She belongs to a conservative family; so we gave her training in tailoring because she can do this work from her home.

She completed her course in January 2007 and started stitching. She undertakes stitching and hand embroidery work according to the customers’ needs and earns Rs.900 per month. The additional income is a great blessing to this family.
