Success Story

Pitta Ramu belongs to Pittapeta village in Andhra Pradesh. Pitta Ramu belongs to Pittapeta village in Andhra Pradesh. Her parents are Rama Swamy and Jyothi. They are very poor labourers. She cannot walk properly and complains about pains in both legs and hands. She is supposed to be in 4th class but does not go to school because of frequent ill-health.

Ramu joined the ‘challenge centre’ run by ARDAR for poor disabled children. Ramu is receiving special medical attention, including physiotherapy. She is attending school regularly and is getting vocational training in net making.

Ramus health has improved. She will receive comprehensive education and care support for the coming years. This will ensure a bright future for her.
