The underground water level is deep and the problem of water scarcity is aggravating The underground water level is deep and the problem of water scarcity is aggravating. By water harvesting and conservation we can charge the situation. The check dam is constructed at Kotfala (hamlet) of Lasadiya village in Lasadiya Panchayat. The name of check dam is "Pipaliwala Check dam".

The constructed check dam, will harvest and conserve the water and will recharge underground water, thus availability of water will increase.

Underground water recharged; Availability of water increases. Adequate water available for drinking and irrigation throughout the year in rural areas which will help people for increased production of crops and people to have enough food for their consumption.
