Success Story

Many are of the opinion that music is a luxury hobby. Many are of the opinion that music is a luxury hobby. However we feel that music makes a person complete. It has been seen that people who love and know music are more peaceful and less stressed, less prone to have rages and more tolerant.

Children from the economically disadvantaged communities who would otherwise have no opportunity to learn music are exposed to both instrumental and vocal music. These children are from orphanages and homes in the community around Kutumba and this give our residents an opportunity to meet others too. Mr. Sweeten Churchill the male teacher is a versatile teacher with knowledge of all the musical instruments we have at present i.e. Guitar, violin, drums and keyboard. He is also a teacher for vocals. Uur female teacher teaches the key board. Children learn both light and classical music.

It is rewarding to see these children enjoying the classes. Children who have only seen a key board or a guitar, violin, drums on T.V are now touching and playing them. The awe on their faces and the obvious delight both individual and as a team is a gift to us
