Meenakshi W/o. Pitcha Periyasamy hails from Pulikurichi Village of Trichuli Block. Meenakshi W/o. Pitcha Periyasamy hails from Pulikurichi Village of Trichuli Block. She is an agricultural coolie by profession. Her husband is also an agricultural labourer. They have seven children (2 male, 5 Female). While one male and female children are living with them the elder ones got married and settled elsewhere. Meenakshi and Pitchai found it tough to lead a peaceful with their poor wages. They wanted some other subsidiary occupation to make their both ends meet. They came to SEEDS for help.

SEEDS taking into consideration of their requirement helped them to acquire a unit of Goats so as to help with a subsidiary occupation. They are very fond looking after the goats and taking much interest to multiply the numbers. All the four female goats are pregnant now and they expect at least 12 kids in the near future.

They are happy to receive the new kids. Within one year, they could get lump sum amount when they sell the kids depending upon their requirement by which time the goats will come for the next yielding. They are waiting with dreams.
