Success Story

The children were playing during their holidays and wasting their time. The children were playing during their holidays and wasting their time. They did not have any additional skills. Being children of poor/gypsy/dalit families they were even denied of good quality education. Some of them are even forced to go to hard work with their parents during holidays. The motivation level is very low among the children and the eagerness to study is also very less

New Life on seeing these problems had organised a Camp in Musiri on improving the leadership, communication and and motivation skills. The sessions on improvement of handwriting was handled by Mr.Mani,Assistant Manager, Indian Bank. The session on leadership skills was taken by Prof.Balakrishnan Rtd Vice Principal of St.Joseph’s college. The session on communication skills was taken up by Prof.Jubilee, Management Consultant. The children were eager and happy to learn these extra skills.

Children are actively participating in community programmes and development activities. We form children clubs and motivate them to participate in awareness rallies, in helping us in reducing the drop out rates in schools, etc. The children trained in our leadership programmes are now regular school goers. They are taking active part in activities taken up by the organization in their locality and also in their schools. We are happy that we are creating leaders of tomorrow.
