Success Story

Neeraj Bala came to Delhi with her parents, sister and two brothers from her village. Neeraj Bala came to Delhi with her parents, sister and two brothers from her village. Like so many others migrant families, her family ended up living in a slum. Her parents were illiterate and did not have the money to pay for a decent education for Neeraj or her siblings. They were barely able to feed them a decent meal.

Deepalaya had opened a school in Neeraj?s slum and enrolled her in it. She has been educated at Deepalaya?s formal school for the last eleven years and she is now in Class X at the National Open School.
